It’s important to remember that workouts break down the body. Our body must then recover, and then super-compensate (become more fit.) That means rest and recovery are just as important as your workouts. Adequate sleep, proper hydration and nutrition, and active recovery (foam rolling, stretching, massage, etc.) should be an integral part of your fitness regimen. Relaxing with a sweet puppy never hurt, either.
